Everyone’s been talking about Brizard’s notion of sending CPS teachers out on home visits since yesterday:

I can’t really tell if it’s a serious proposal or just one of those pet ideas that officials sometimes float and reporters glom onto.  Is it an intentional distraction, meant to divert attention from salaries, school days, etc?
